What students are saying…

  • “I’ve been tuning pianos in this area for many years. When I encounter yet another of Pamela’s students, and their families, there is a consistent, positive and elated response when they speak of Pamela as their music teacher. ‘The proof is in the pudding.’ Pamela’s students are testimony to her approach and her love of music/music making within the community. I highly recommend her to you.”

    Mark Larin - Piano Technician

  • “Pamela is an amazing teacher! She supports you in every possible way and also provides many resources, tips and next steps along the way. The thing I love best about my lessons is that Pam models and coaches you with such wisdom and patience. She is so good at pin-pointing a trouble spot and empowering you to reach your goal with a piece of music. I am very grateful to her and highly recommend her to other students learning the violin.”

    Rachelle Eves - Student

  • “I have been taking weekly Zoom violin lessons with Pamela for two years now and would recommend her highly. Pamela is an excellent teacher, and very well educated in music instruction. Each of my lessons builds upon the previous one and I am able to make steady progress without ever feeling stressed or overwhelmed. It has been a real joy to study with Pamela and I am looking forward to continuing to study, practise and improve my skills under her direction.”

    Jane Cooper - Student

  • “My son and daughter have both taken lessons with Pamela. She’s a thoughtful caring teacher that puts her students first. Even when Morgan was devastated when she hurt her finger on her dominant hand, Pamela found a way to rejuvenate her and continue on. She works individually with each student to provide exactly what they need and like, which keeps them coming back for more. The pandemic didn’t slow her down. She adapted giving the students something to look forward to. Thanks so much for all you do!”

    Shelley Bray - Parent

  • “Pamela is a great teacher. My son has been learning piano with her since 2016. She supports my son and cares about his progress. She provides useful resources, and arranges recitals and presentations for her students to improve their performances. She is so talented, educated and able to play different instruments. She is providing her classes on zoom during pandemic and the result was amazing.”

    Masoud Saadi - Parent

  • “My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Pamela since she was 9 years old. Pamela is a wonderful and kind teacher. My daughter has learned how to read music and play so many wonderful songs. Pamela helped my daughter find a passion for the art of music and playing piano. In 2019 my daughter won an award at the 65th annual Kinsmen musical festival. I highly recommend her.”

    Chad Shayler - Parent

  • My daughter has been taking piano with Pamela for almost 4 years now and it has been amazing to see her skills and love of piano grow every year. Pamela is so encouraging and great at choosing pieces that are tailored to my daughter’s needs; challenging but not overwhelming. My daughter looks forward to her lesson each week. We also love the online format, no slick roads in the winter! I highly recommend Pamela’s studio.

    Jessica Demerchant - Parent

  • “Our daughter Joyce has excelled on the Violin with Pamela’s teaching. Joyce has often commented on how thorough and pleasant Pamela is as an instructor. We would highly recommend her and look forward to listening to Joyce’s progress.”

    Jeff Friesen - Parent

  • “My daughter has taken music lessons with Pamela since 2014, from childhood to teenage years. With her patience, understanding, and high competence, Pamela guided my daughter through all levels up to current level 7. Her lessons are tailored to each person needs and she thrives in finding the most appropriate method to support constant progress; I can testify that through my own experience, having taken lessons myself for a few years. My daughter's successes wouldn't have been possible without Pamela's continuous teaching and guidance. If either your child or yourself want to learn how to play piano or violin, to understand and welcome the music in your life, then Pamela Lord Music Studio is the place to join!”
